Hannah Rowan is a British multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She works across sculpture, installation, performance, video and sound to explore the slippery complexities of water that draws together a liquid relationship between the human body and geological and ecological systems. Hannah studied MA Sculpture at the Royal College of Art and BA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, both in London. Recent exhibitions include C+N Canepaneri Gallery, Milan; Museum of Science, Trento;  Castel Belasi, Trento, Italy; Annely Juda Fine Art, London; Arusha Gallery, Bruton; Contemporary Sculpture Fulmer, UK; Sebastien Bertrand, Geneva, Switzerland; Andrew Reed, NYC; Below Grand, NYC; Wuhan Biennale, China and Belo Campo, Lisbon, Portugal among others. Her practice is informed by field research in locations ranging from the Arctic Circle to the Atacama Desert and has been supported by Arts Council England.
